Wentworth Donaldson Jr. is also known by his stage name ‘DJ Future’ or 'DaFuture' as Bahamians like to refer to  him. He is currently one of the most popular DJs residing in the Bahamas. His career started from about 9 years old under a family owned company called 'Scorpion Entertainment'. His father, Dj Scorpio, showed him the basics of being a DJ at an early age. After the basics was mastered, Future took the knowledge he gained and has been improving ever since. In junior high, he curated events and they were a  hit. Those events increased rapidly and his popularity on his hometown island of Freeport Grand Bahama, inclined. Normally, high schoolers would socialize with peers or rest on the weekends, but DJ Future was working at local parties and business establishments perfecting his craft, while also excelling academically and maintaining his Honor Roll status. During a great time while playing at a local establishment, a radio personality was pleased by Dj Future’s skills at such a young age and he was then offered a job interview at a local radio station. He landed the job. Once he was given the opportunity to broadcast his talent on a top radio station, he vastly became more popular amongst other Bahamian islands and  more. 

It's been quite  a few years since landing that first Radio Station job and opportunities have continued to present themselves ever since. With no intention in slowing down, Dj Future is grateful to be doing what he loves and connecting with people in such a unique way.
